// APC Student Placement Confidentiality Agreement

This Confidentiality Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between:

1. Purpose

Athletic Performance Centre operates as a high-performance training facility providing services to youth and adult athletes. During placement, students may have access to confidential information relating to athletes, clients, staff, programming, and business operations.

The purpose of this Agreement is to protect that information and maintain professional and ethical standards.

2. Definition of Confidential Information

For the purpose of this Agreement, “Confidential Information” includes but is not limited to:

Athlete & Client Information

• Personal details (name, age, contact details, medical information)
  
• Performance testing results
  
• Strength & conditioning data
  
• Injury history and rehabilitation notes
  
• Training programs and progress reports
  
• Parent communications
  

Business & Operational Information

• Programming systems (including Teambuildr content)
  
• Session structures and methodologies
  
• Internal documents and procedures
  
• Pricing, financial or membership information
  
• Marketing plans or strategies
  
• Staff discussions and internal communications
  

Intellectual Property

• APC programming templates
  
• Testing protocols
  
• Performance frameworks
  
• Session delivery systems
  
• Educational resources created by APC staff
  

3. Confidentiality Obligations

The Student agrees that they will:

1. Maintain strict confidentiality of all Confidential Information.
   
2. Use Confidential Information solely for the purpose of completing their placement requirements.
   
3. Not disclose, discuss, copy, photograph, download, record or distribute any Confidential Information to third parties without written consent from APC.
   
4. Not share athlete information with friends, family, classmates or via social media.
   
5. Not remove physical or digital documents from APC premises without permission.
   
6. Immediately report any accidental disclosure or data breach to their supervising coach.
   

4. Social Media & Photography

Students must not:

• Take photos or videos of athletes without written consent.
  
• Post any APC-related content online without approval.
  
• Tag athletes or discuss their performance publicly.
  
• Share “behind the scenes” content from sessions.
  

APC maintains strict safeguarding standards, particularly in Youth Athletic Development programs.

5. Child Safeguarding & Duty of Care

Given APC works extensively with youth athletes, students acknowledge:

• All athlete information is private and protected.
  
• Professional boundaries must be maintained at all times.
  
• Any concerns regarding safety or wellbeing must be reported immediately to supervising coaches (Declan Crook or Matt Hugg).
  
• Confidentiality does not override mandatory reporting obligations where safety is at risk.
  

6. Intellectual Property Protection

All programming, systems, methodologies, templates, and educational content accessed during placement remain the sole property of Athletic Performance Centre.

Students agree they will not:

• Replicate APC programming for external use.
  
• Use APC intellectual property for personal business purposes.
  
• Share Teambuildr content outside APC.
  

These obligations continue after placement concludes.

7. Duration of Agreement

This Agreement remains in effect:

• Throughout the duration of the placement, and
  
• Indefinitely following completion of the placement.
  

Confidentiality obligations do not expire.

8. Breach of Agreement

Any breach of this Agreement may result in:

• Immediate termination of placement.
  
• Notification to the relevant university placement coordinator.
  
• Potential legal action if intellectual property or client privacy is compromised.
  

9. Acknowledgement

By signing below, the Student confirms that they:

• Have read and understood this Confidentiality Agreement.
  
• Agree to comply with all terms.
  
• Understand the seriousness of confidentiality within a high-performance training environment.
  
• Accept that failure to comply may result in removal from placement.
